Every state has felt the widespread disruption from the COVID-19 pandemic, but two of our favourite theme parks have evolved with the current climate by making necessary changes to keep you safe while still being able to enjoy the human experience! When historians document the pandemic of 2020, it will be a story of our ability to come together as a collective to adhere to the global health response.

Through this adaptiveness and ingenuity, we can restart aspects of our normal life which might include your yearly visits to Australia’s biggest theme park. Dreamworld and WhiteWater World have introduced a variety of comprehensive changes to ensure guest safety and we’ve documented all the relevant info for you below, so you can see what has been implemented and how you can get back to making happy memories with your loved ones.

Which attractions remain closed?

There are a large variety of family rides and attractions still open following the revised COVID SAFE plan, so much so that it is easier to list the temporarily unavailable attractions and activities upon opening:

This is subject to change and doesn’t include the attractions under scheduled maintenance.

The Big Red Car and Flowrider will be permanently retired, though our memories on these attractions will live on. This comprehensive COVID SAFE Plan has been approved by Queensland Health and the staff at Dreamworld and WhiteWater World are excited to welcome you back to the Parks!

Re-open your theme park experience!

It’s important to look after your health first and foremost and if this year has taught us anything, it’s that by being considerate of others, we minimise risk of transmission and ultimately care for ourselves by doing so.

The theme parks have made the following adjustments to protect their guests and have requested that we all come together by adhering to their requirements

WhiteWater World will operate seasonally from early September until late January.

Saving the best for last

For a limited time only, the Annual Pass to Dreamworld and WhiteWater World is only $99 (down from $139) which means that you will have the extra money in your holiday account!
