If you are planning a stay in one of our Holiday Cabins or on one of our Caravan or Camp Sites, there are a few things you should know.
Please review our booking Terms and Conditions before you place your booking with Brisbane Holiday Village.

 

Holiday Cabins and Caravan & Camp Sites:

Deposits – (Excludes Specials, Promotions or Packages)

  • A deposit of the first nights’ accommodation or 25% of the entire accommodation tariff, whichever is greater is required to secure your reservation at the time of reservation. Full balance is payable upon arrival.

Alterations – (Excludes Specials, Promotions or Packages)

  • Alterations can only be made to reservations if more than fifteen (15) days’ notice of the arrival date is given and are subject to availability. Pricing is subject to change. Only one alteration can be made per reservation. Once an alteration has been made, if the reservation is then cancelled, no refunds will be given.

To make an alteration to a reservation please send a request email to sales@brisbaneholidayvillage.com.au stating all of the details.

Cancellations and Refunds – (Excludes Specials, Promotions or Packages)

  • Where at least fifteen (15) days’ notice of full or part cancellation has been given, a full refund will apply less a cancellation fee of $50.00.
  • If a cancellation is made with less than fifteen (15) days’ notice of the reservation arrival date, no refund or credit will be given.
  • No refund will be given for any no-show reservation/s or early departures.

To cancel your reservation please send a cancellation email to sales@brisbaneholidayvillage.com.au stating all of the details.

Specials, Promotions and Packages:

Deposits

  • Full payment of the total accommodation tariff is required at time of reservation to secure the Special Rate, Promotion Rate or Special Package.

Booking Alterations, Cancellation and Refunds

  • These rates are non-refundable, non-amendable (unless extending or increasing the value of the reservation, subject to availability and prices may change) and cancellations are not permitted.
  • No refund will be given for any no-show reservation/s or early departures.
  • Please take note of the individual special’s Terms and Conditions on the Special’s page

Other (Third Party) Bookings:

Booking Alterations, Cancellation and Refunds

  • Please note that refunds will not be issued for any cancellations and/or alterations for bookings made via tour operators, travel agents and other third parties.
  • Rates are non-commissionable for bookings made via tour operators, travel agents and other third parties.

Short-Term Cabins:

Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit equal to one (1) week’s tariff is required to secure your reservation.
  • No refund will be given on any deposits and/or rent paid in advance in case of cancellation, alteration, no-show or early departure.
  • The balance of the first four (4) weeks to be paid on arrival, additional weeks to be paid two (2) weeks in advance.
  • A refundable cleaning bond of $200 and key bond of $50 is to be paid on arrival.
  • Any monies paid (with the exception of refundable bonds) will be forfeited in the event of cancellation, early departure, no show, or alteration.

Extensions and Booking Alterations:

If you wish to extend your stay, please advise our Customer Service Team as soon as possible. Due to the popularity of our Short-Term Cabins, extending is subject to availability and it is the responsibility of every guest to check whether their scheduled departure date is correct. (The scheduled departure date is displayed on your receipt/s)

Permanent Cabins and Sites:

Please refer to your RTA agreement for payment, cancellations and alterations policies.

Permanent residents paying by credit card will incur a 1.2% surcharge.


General Policies and Information

Privacy

  • The information collected at the time of booking is collected by the Blue Point Motors Group.
  • The information is collected specifically to facilitate the establishment of guest’s accounts and is stored in our reservation system.
  • The Blue Point Motors Group sometimes mails or emails marketing related information to customers, to keep them up-to-date with special offers, improvements, etc.
  • The Management of the Blue Point Motors Group respects your privacy.

Early Departures:

  • Please note that once the balance of your booking is paid, no refunds will be given should you decide to cut your stay short during your time with us.

Payments (General) – All Cabins and Sites:

The following methods can be used to make a payment:

  • Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa) – over the telephone or via email with a credit card authorisation form.
  • Bank deposits – acceptable when paid at least 10 business days before arrival

The following method can only be used to make a payment for online reservations:

  • Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa)

Please note – Credit Card used for phone or online payment must be sighted upon check-in to verify details.

A confirmation letter and receipt will be forwarded to you once your deposit has been received. Please ensure to check whether your reservation details are correct in these documents and inform our Customer Service Team immediately of any changes.

Upon arrival at Brisbane Holiday Village, the balance of any account (if applicable) needs to be settled and our Customer Service Team will also be required to take a copy of your valid government-issued photo identification. When the account balance is paid by credit card, the name on the card must match the details on your identification.

Payments (Payment Plans) – All Cabins and Sites:

  • Payment plans only apply to holiday cabins (Penthouse, Vogue, Cosmo, Alfresco or Metro)
  • Full payment of accommodation and refundable key bond are made in equal payment instalments from your nominated credit card.
  • Payment plans are available on bookings worth a minimum of $400 per stay
  • A minimum of two payments are required to comply for payment plan option.
  • Payment plans are available for stays booked 1 month or more in the future.
  • You have the option to choose from weekly or fortnightly payments.
  • Your accommodation and refundable key bond must be paid in full two (2) weeks prior to your arrival date
  • There is a $1.50 admin fee per transaction.
  • Payment plans only are only offered for stays booked directly on our website.

Please note:

if a payment is declined you will need to call Reception on +61 7 3341 6133 to update your details and a manual payment will be made. After the manual payment, the payment plan will proceed as originally arranged. If no contact made and Brisbane Holiday Village can not reach you, your booking will be cancelled three (3) days after the declined payment.

Security Deposits & Bonds

  • A refundable key bond of $50 is payable per key, per reservation as well as any bonds on hired items such as cots and high chairs (if applicable).
  • Upon arrival you must provide a credit card pre-authorisation of $1. If the reservation was made online, the pre-authorised credit card MUST match the credit card used for payment.
  • The pre-authorisation process validates your credit card and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents.
  • The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the card issuer for a period of up to 14 days from the date of pre-authorisation and the pre-authorisation will affect your available funds balance or spending limit. For more information on this practice please contact your card issuer.

Bunk Bed Policy

  • Please be advised that under Workplace Health & Safety obligations we must comply with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4220:2010 – Bunk Beds and Other Elevated Beds. Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use the top bunk in the Brisbane cabins. Children must also not play on the top bunk. Please take this into consideration when making a booking.

Maximum Lengths for Caravan Sites

Our powered and ensuite sites offer a maximum length for caravans as per the following:

  • Casual Powered Sites – maximum 25ft
  • Ensuite Sites – maximum 25ft
  • XL Ensuite Sites – maximum 30ft

Tents are not permitted on Casual Powered Sites, Ensuite Sites or XL Ensuite Sites due to safety reasons.

Camping Area Policy

  • Our camping areas are available to holiday makers and international travellers on a short-term basis only (maximum 7 nights) unless prior written approval has been received from Brisbane Holiday Village Management.
  • Camping areas are not available for temporary housing purposes and any applications through commercial companies will not be accepted.
  • All occupants must supply valid government-issued photo identification and must have a supervising adult over the age of 18 years present at all times.
  • Village Management reserves the right to prohibit entry to persons to our campsite or cabins who do not meet these conditions.

Pet Policy

  • Pets are not permitted within Brisbane Holiday Village, except for guide, hearing and assistance dogs.

Visitor Policy

  • We are very passionate about ensuring our guests have exclusive use of our Village’s facilities. With this in mind, day visitors are only allowed if they are visiting a guest staying within the Village. Please check with our Customer Service Team prior to arranging visitors, as during peak periods we may restrict the number of visitors allowed.
  • Any guests will need to ‘sign in’ at Reception prior to entering the Village.

Reception Hours

  • Operating hours for our Reception are 7.30am – 8.30pm daily.
  • Check-in time is from 2pm. If you will be arriving after 8pm, please contact our Customer Service Team to arrange a late arrival.
  • Check-out time is prior to 10am. If you will be departing prior to 7.30am, please see our Customer Service Team the day before departure.

Please note:

If you have booked a Tent, Powered, Ensuite or XL Ensuite site, please arrive prior to sunset to allow time to set up during daylight hours.

Queensland does not have Daylight Savings.
