Paniyiri Greek Festival
In Musgrave Park, South Bank more than 30 food stalls will showcase the tastes, recipes and secrets of food from all corners of Greece.
The weekend will feature hours of entertainment including the return of Greek Dancing with the Stars; a world record Zorba attempt; Grape Stomping, Olive and Honeypuff Eating Competitions; Hellenic Dancing and Zorba Till You Drop. State of Origin - Game Three
See Queensland verses New South Wales at Suncorp Stadium for game three of the almighty State of Origin. The mighty maroons will fight to the very end at Queensland's home of league on 4 July.
This is League's greatest rivalry and is only played between New South Wales and Queensland. Competition between the two states dates back as early as 1908, but the current best of three format was introduced in 1982.

Brisbane Festival 2012
September is Festival time in Brisbane! From September 8 – 29 2012, Brisbane will be in full festive swing as acclaimed international and Australian artists, free outdoor events, and the cutting edge bursts across theatres, galleries, parks and public spaces across Brisbane. Brisbane Festival will open on Saturday 8 September with the laser and light show Santos City of Lights, which promises to be more spectacular than ever and will run nightly for three weeks of the Festival thanks to the support of Events Queensland and Santos.

RiverFire 2012
More than half a million people converge on Brisbane’s riverbanks every year to watch the city sky ignite. Brisbane Festival's closing celebrations will kick off at 1pm with free entertainment including 104.5 Triple M's live broadcast. For those celebrating at home, Channel Nine's exclusive live coverage of Sunsuper Riverfire will start from 6.30pm.
